These pictures provide us with a reminder of what life was like in Poole, 1983.
Both U2 and Tears for Fears performed at the Poole Arts Centre in March of that year, while there were discussions about extending the Poole port truckline.
The UK had a general election in that year, with the Conservative Party winning the Poole constituency.
And while all that was happening, these pictures were being snapped at various events in the area.
