HALL & Woodhouse, the Blandford-based brewery, has been named as one of the best places to work in the UK.
It joins other Dorset-based firms including marketing agency Halo Associates and Heartwood Collections in the Sunday Times and WorkL, best places to work in the UK list for this year.
The independent family-run company brews award winning Badger Ales and Outland Beers while running an estate of pubs across the south.
Dean Livesey, director of Great Place to Work at Hall & Woodhouse, said: “We are delighted to feature on this year’s Sunday Times Best Places to Work list.
“Our team is central to everything we do. We strive to ensure that they feel valued and a part of the Hall & Woodhouse family.
“It has been our ambition to become a ‘Great Place to Work’ over the last decade. Being acknowledged as one of the Sunday Times best big companies to work for in the UK is recognition of our progress and the amazing talent we have across the business.
“Our vision doesn’t stop here, we remain ambitious to build on these foundations and become even better.”
Hall & Woodhouse was founded in 1777 by Charles Hall, a Dorset farmer, who opened a brewery in the village of Ansty.
It has a collection of 160 pubs that make up its managed house and business partner estate, stretching from Devon, London and Brighton.
Lord Mark Price, founder of WorkL, added: “We’ve been absolutely blown away by just how many brilliant companies entered the awards in the hopes of being recognised, so it’s a real achievement to have made the list."
