A construction award has recognised a young man from Bournemouth for his work in the sector.
Jack Herbert is the key account manager at Bournemouth landscaping company, Talasey, and has been applauded for his positive impact.
The Builders Merchant Federation (BMF) top 100 Young Achievers programme rewards merchants and suppliers who have made the biggest difference to a multi-billion-pound sector.
Jack has worked in the sector for a decade. He said he was “proud to represent Talasey Landscaping Solutions and would like to extend thanks to all my colleagues and customers.”
John Newcomb, BMF chief executive, said the federation was keen on encouraging young people to get involved in the building supply sector.
He added: "This initiative celebrates the contributions of those who will carry the industry forward in the future and work to make a material difference.
“This accolade reflects the positive influence Jack has had on the people around him and on the wider building materials industry.”
The BMF is the only trade association representing merchants and suppliers in the UK, and aims to “build excellence” in the sector with nearly a thousand member companies.
