THE lady who took over the village bakery in Canford Cliffs deserves huge applause for her kind and thoughtful gesture in charging only 50p for a cup of tea making it the lowest price cup of tea in the country.
This has unsurprisingly resulted in massive popularity with queues down the street, proving there are still many people who would normally have to think twice before buying a refreshment while at work or shopping, even in Canford Cliffs.
My first thought was how much of a change the makes from the boasting and bragging, the expensive watches and 4x4 vehicles that so many business people firmly believe they need to flaunt to prove they are successful, the success which has often come at the expense of other people and as far as I know has never made anyone more liked.
Well done to her.
