AVIATION FANATICS were treated to not one, but two flyovers today.
The Red Arrows could be heard in all their might as they passed Bournemouth this morning.
The British aviation group soared across the county from Bournemouth airport at around 10am on their way to Normandy.
There will be multiple opportunities to spot the team as they make their tour of D-Day celebrations over the coming days.
A Eurofighter jet could also be seen above Bournemouth as it trailed off the coast.
Verwood residents will also get the chance to see the high-flying crew as they depart once again from Bournemouth Airport on June 7 to the RAF Valley.
One final chance to see the traditional jet crew will be offered on Saturday, June 8 when the Red Arrows set off for the Portsmouth AFD display at 3.19 before swooping back to the Bournemouth base for 4.05pm.
