A MAN was caught flushing “something that looked to be wrapped in plastic” down the toilet during a police drugs raid.
Officers from the Ringwood and Fordingbridge neighbourhood policing team smashed their way into a Fordingbridge home on Saturday morning, June 8.
And the officers were so “rapid” in getting in, they caught a man attempting to flush evidence away down the toilet.
A 20-year-old man from Fordingbridge was arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply.
He remains in police custody where he is being questioned.
Meanwhile, officers seized quantities of cash and suspected class A drugs from the home.
A spokesman from Ringwood police said: “Again, thanks to you the public, as without this information we wouldn't have a warrant issued with a great result at the end of it.”
