Several pets in Dorset are looking for their forever homes, including at the Ashley Heath Animal Centre.

Located on the border with Hampshire, the centre offers care for its animals in rural surroundings.

A few animals from the centre are listed below but more can be found on the centre's website.

Jack

Gender - Male

Age - Three years old

Breed - Crossbreed/unknown

Colour - Black and White

If you want to adopt Jack you can view their full profile here.

Jack came into the care of the RSPCA from a large multi-dog household so has no experience of a life outside the one home and garden he's been in.

He can be a bit scared meeting other dogs but the RSPCA would consider rehoming him with another small but calm dog after several introductions at the centre.

Due to the unknown contact with children in his previous home, the RSPCA suggest that any children in a new place would need to be dog-confident older teens.

Additionally, due to potentially requiring further housetraining, Jack will ideally go to a home with access to a garden.

Lavender

Gender - Female

Age - Three years old

Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed

Colour - Tabby/White

If you want to adopt Lavender you can view their full profile here.

Lavender came into the care of the RSPCA when she was found living in unsuitable conditions with lots of other cats.

She hasn't had much human interaction growing up so is quite nervous as a result.

However, she is slowly starting to grow in confidence and would need an understanding owner to carry on that development.

Lavender prefers a hands-off approach with people but may come round to more interaction over time.

Socks

Gender - Female

Age - 14 years old

Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed

Colour - Grey/White

If you want to adopt Socks you can view their full profile here.

Socks came into the centre due to welfare concerns and is now looking to find a new place.

She is not keen on being picked up but will come to people if she wants a bit of a fuss.

Socks is on regular steroid medication to control skin allergies and also requires monthly prescription flea treatments.

Additionally, she is not to be rehomed within five miles of Poole (BH12).

Bluey

Gender - Male

Age - Nine years old

Breed - Husky (Siberian)

Colour - Grey/White

If you want to adopt Bluey you can view their full profile here.

Bluey is described as being "sociable" with other dogs and when meeting new people.

He knows some basic commands and although he generally walks reasonably well on the lead, he can be strong at times.

The RSPCA adds: "Bluey is looking for a home where he will have access to a garden to enjoy laying in the sunshine.

"After his assessment here we feel he may be ok to live with dog-confident children 16 years+ but cannot live with cats."

Gender - Female

Age - Three to six months old

Breed - English Spot

Colour - White and Black

If you want to adopt Flopsy and Mopsy you can view their full profile here.

Flopsy and Mopsy are described as a "pair of sweet rabbits" who are looking to find a new home together.

This new home will need to offer them enrichment and give them plenty of space to explore.

While in the care of the RSPCA, they have shown symptoms of snuffles known as pasteurella, due to this they will need to be the only rabbits in the home.
