A POPULAR convenience store has temporarily closed for a refresh in Ringwood.
Tesco Express in Poulner has closed to make way for improvements to its store.
The store closed on June 8 to make way for the planned five weeks of work on the building.
The reason behind the closure is to increase the shop’s floor space, allowing wider shopping aisles for customers, and a wider range of products.
The shop is set to open on July 18.
A spokesperson for Tesco said: “Our Poulner Express store is currently closed for a full refurbishment to provide an improved shopping experience for our customers.
“We apologise for the inconvenience caused while the works take place, and look forward to welcoming customers back to the refreshed store when it opens next month.”
On its website, it reads: “We've closed this store until 18 July 2024 to make improvements.
“We're sorry for any inconvenience.”
The Poulner Tesco Express is on One Butlers Lane, Poulner, Ringwood.
