RESIDENTS are being encouraged to check their designated polling stations ahead of the general election.
With less than two weeks to go until the election on July 4, residents can check where their nearest polling station is on the BCP Council website.
Polling stations will open at 7am and will close at 10pm.
These can vary from election to election and may have changed from the police and crime commissioner elections earlier this year or the local elections last year.
Poll cards also contain the address of the designated polling station.
Graham Farrant, acting returning officer and chief executive of BCP Council said: “Because of the unplanned nature of this General Election date, we have not been able to secure all the usual Polling Stations, which means that some voters will find that their location for voting has changed.
“Please check the details on your Polling Card carefully ahead of time to make sure you go to the right place to vote.”
