THE fire service issued advice to England fans ahead of Sunday's match against Slovakia.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service (DWFRS) asked Three Lions supporters to remember the following ‘simple safety tips’.
DWFRS told fans to enjoy the football, but to not do anything that could see them faced with the emergency services.
The service said in a social media post on Sunday afternoon: “If you're drinking, make sure you allow time to sober up before driving - even if that's tomorrow.
“Make sure everyone can get home safely - have designated drivers or book a taxi if walking isn't an option.
“Barbecues are great when you've got company, but be careful when cooking and don't throw away the coals until they're completely cold.”
