HUNDREDS of people took part in an 'exceedingly loud' unlicensed beach party on Boscombe beach.
Starting at 2pm on June 30, hundreds of people attended the event near the land train shed.
'Exceedingly loud music' was reported from the event which was said to cover the promenade path with tents, DJ sets and large speakers.
A Boscombe resident, said: "I walked from Boscombe with my friend to Bournemouth and we had to walk through them as they had taken over the pathway with DJ sets and all the equipment they had.
"There were about two to three hundred people and when we walked back from Bournemouth, it was in full swing. People had to walk on the road and lots of cars were still coming down."
The event, which is believed to have been called Soca by the Sea, finished between 6pm and 7pm and six coaches later appeared to pick up the partygoers.
Arriving at around 6pm, the buses waited to pick up the party members and blocked the Boscombe roundabout for other traffic and the Purbeck Breezer bus.
The Boscombe resident said: "There were four white coaches and two large red coaches and one had parked at the bottom while another blocked the open-top Breezer bus.
"The poor man couldn't get round. The coaches just sat there and didn't move for half an hour and they were literally waiting for people to come off the beach and get on them and then go back."
It is unknown where the buses and party members had visited from, however, one of the buses, Redwing Coaches of London, is listed to be based in Croydon.
BCP Council confirmed the party was unlicensed and it became aware of it due to the 'noise and the number of people gathered'.
It reported its seafront team worked to solve the issue.
A spokesperson for BCP Council said: "This was an unlicensed party which the council became aware of due to the noise and the number of people gathered.
"Our fantastic seafront teams were out on site engaging with the group and made sure the area was clean and safe for beachgoers by 8am.”
