WAREHAM auction house South Dorsetshire Auctions is turning it up to 11 as it prepares to put £200,000 of HiFi equipment and electronics under the hammer.
The highly specialised audio equipment is from the estate of a Dorset man and much of it is almost new, although it is expected to sell at a substantial discount to list price.
Auctioneer Mark Croucher said it featured equipment from some of the world's leading manufacturers including Pass Labs, Wilson Audio, Audio Research and others.
He added: "At list price we have something approaching £250,000 of HiFi equipment including a pair of Pass Labs Monobloc Amplifiers which retailed at £28,000 and ceramic speakers by Wilson Audio which retailed at £16,000. Lucky bidders could pick up the pair for less than £4,000.
"It isn't just HiFi equipment, we have a vast array of other electronics including test equipment, valves and components and much more.”
The equipment will go under the hammer on Sunday, July 14.
South Dorsetshire Auctions holds weekly auctions from its three salerooms in Wareham with bidders able to bid online or attend and bid in person.
