CASTING is now underway for the upcoming season of E4’s BAFTA nominated series Married at First Sight UK.
A social experiment in which experts 'play cupid' to match singles across the UK, the show was the second most streamed in the UK during its run last autumn.
The show has had a string of success in matching singles, with events after the cameras stopped rolling including a real-life wedding, an LGBTQIA+ engagement and the birth of a Married at First Sight baby.
The premise of the show involves complete strangers meeting for the very first time on their 'wedding day'.
Following their nuptials, couples enjoy a luxurious honeymoon before moving in together alongside other couples participating in the experiment.
Weekly challenges test the strength of the couples' relationships.
In addition to the challenges, couples attend weekly dinner parties and Commitment Ceremonies, offering them a platform to discuss their relationships with the experts.
Couples then decide whether they wish to continue in the experiment or go their separate ways.
