A VAN driver is in hospital with serious injuries after a crash in the New Forest.
The man, 30 years old and from Christchurch, was driving on the A35 between Lyndhurst Road and Rhinefield Ornamental Drive on Tuesday, July 16 at about 3.30pm.
He became involved in a crash with another van, leaving him with “serious injuries”, the police described.
Meanwhile, emergency services rushed to the scene and closed the road briefly while the clear up took place.
A spokeswoman for Hampshire Police said: “We were called at 3.33pm on July 16 to reports of a collision on the A35 involving two vans.
“The driver of one of the vans, a 30-year-old man from Christchurch, has sustained a serious injury.”
