A BUSY road will close to the allow police to investigate the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Bournemouth.
In May 2024, a male pedestrian in his 70s died in hospital following a crash at Ashley Road.
A woman in her 30s was arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
She has been released under investigation while further enquiries are carried out.
On Friday, July 19 between 10am and 12pm, Ashley Road and Windham Road will be closed for a police investigation.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “The road closure is being put in place to allow for further investigative work to be carried out in relation to the fatal collision that occurred in Ashley Road, near the junction of Windham Road, on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
“We would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding during the closure and apologise for any inconvenience caused to local residents.”
