HARRY Potter fans can be transported to the wizarding world on a heritage railway.
Travellers can take the train from Swanage station to Corfe Castle for a special outdoor screening of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone as a part of the Purbeck Film Festival.
Upon arrival at the station, attendees will be taken to a magical venue in the castle grounds where the film will be shown.
Claire Burns, festival director at the Purbeck Film Festival, said: “This event is designed to transport fans not only through the landscapes but through time, immersing them in the nostalgic experience of classic train travel coupled with the magic of Harry Potter.
“We’re thrilled to offer an unforgettable evening that combines the love for railways with the enchantment of J.K. Rowling’s wizarding world.”
Tickets for the event are limited and are expected to sell out quickly, with attendees encouraged to dress in their favourite Harry Potter attire.
They should bring blankets and comfortable seating for the film, which is one of four being screened at the Cinema Under the Stars at the festival, which runs through August and September, with the Harry Potter screening taking place on August 23.
