A MAN has been banned from entering two high street retailers in Dorset after multiple shopliftings.
Two people were arrested after multiple incidents in the Boscombe area.
One offender was arrested after being recalled back to prison.
The other arrested person was jailed for more than 15 weeks and given a criminal behaviour order.
The criminal order states they cannot enter an area of Boscombe or any Co-op and Boots stores in the county.
A spokesperson for Bournemouth police said: “The Boscombe Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) have had a very proactive week which included the arrest of two individuals.
“One was immediately recalled back to prison and the other was arrested due to being wanted for numerous shopliftings in the Boscombe area.
"They were jailed for 16 weeks and handed a two-year-long criminal behaviour order (CBO) due to his previous offences.”
