A POPULAR reggae festival is set to return to Bournemouth with a ‘stellar line-up’.
Bournemouth Reggae Weekender boasts an ‘electrifying’ line-up, a charity focus and ‘delicious’ rum.
Taking place from July 26 to 28 at Kings Park, the event is described as a ‘vibrant celebration of reggae music, culture and community spirit.’
The audience can anticipate sounds from Dawn Penn, Stylo G, Christopher Ellis, David Rodigan, Reggae Roast, Tubby’s Soundsystem and more artists.
There will be Caribbean-inspired food and drinks, handcrafted goods at an artisan market, and workshops celebrating Afro-Caribbean music, dance and poetry.
The festival proudly partners with Pink Ribbon and UHD NHS Charity.
A portion of ticket revenue will be donated to support these charities.
Bournemouth reggae Weekender is collaborating with Caribbean restaurant chain Turtle Bay, Duppy Share Rum and Mount Gay to offer a selection of rum cocktails and a VIP zone.
A spokesperson for the festival said: “Experience the magic of reggae, immerse yourself in Afro-Caribbean culture, and support worthy causes – all in one unforgettable weekend.”
