A STUDIO flat in Bournemouth town centre has sold through auction.
On a 250-year lease from 2005, with a ground rent of £60 per annum, the property in Bath Road’s Pine Grange had a guide price of £75,000 - £80,000.
It was among 165 lots listed across England by Clive Emson Auctioneers in the firm’s July auction.
Mike Marchant, a senior auction appraiser in Dorset for the firm, said: “There was keen interest, with the seller accepting an offer prior to auction.
“With 419 sq ft, the flat is larger than many one-bedroom flats and benefits from a separate kitchen, with communal gardens and unallocated parking.”
Joint auctioneers were House & Son.
Re-available is a four-bedroom leasehold flat at 86A Wolverton Road, Bournemouth, currently let at £13,800 per annum. The guide price for the 102 sq m property was £180,000-plus.
Mike said the flat is on the remainder of a 189-year lease from August; joint agents are Gordon Baker.
Bidding at the next auction by Clive Emson Auctioneers, the sixth of eight this year, is live from 16 September, concluding 48 hours later.
The deadline for lot entries is 27 August, with the catalogue live from 31 August.
