A bustling scene unfolded on July 2, 2004, as numerous vendors hailing from the regions of Normandy and Brittany displayed their wares in the Market Place.
The air quickly filled with the enticing scents of French cuisine as the marketplace came to life.
Among the culinary delights presented were a variety of traditional French dishes, including crepes, cheeses, olives, sausages, bonbons, pastries, and more unique offerings.
One standout was the delectable "tartiflette," a savory mixture of bacon, onions, and potatoes cooked in a large frying pan.
Introducing a different flair to the scene was a vendor offering a new variety of French dressing, while a booth showcasing daring lingerie brought an element of excitement to the atmosphere.
The Furlong Centre buzzed with an array of French fun as can-can dancers twirled and jugglers showcased their skills, accompanied by various street entertainers and craft demonstrators in a lively showcase.
