CHOIR singers are being encouraged to a join local group ahead of its concert.
The Fordingbridge Choral Society are welcoming new members of all voices and experience in preparation for its concert at the end of the year.
Rehearsals recommence in September at the United Reformed Church in Salisbury Street on Wednesdays from 7.30pm to 9.15pm.
Prospective members can try the group with no commitment.
Fordingbridge Choral Society member, Colin Burt, said: “We are seeking new membership to our choir and also advance notice of our November concert which we will be rehearsing for from September 4th.
“Handel composed “Messiah” in 1741 almost 300 years ago and it remains one of the best, if not the best, and extremely popular choral works which audiences and choirs alike wish to be part of.
“This enduring music and lyrics will live on forever and please many future generations.
“I joined the choral society almost 10 years ago and it has always given me immense pleasure being part of a very friendly choir singing music that I love. Please give us a try, we’d love to welcome you.”
More information can be found on the Fordingbridge Choral website or by contacting the group secretary, Ian Gates, on 01425 656348.
