A SECTION of the A35 eastbound in Bournemouth will be closed tomorrow for up to eight weeks.
The road between Manor Road and Boscombe Spa Road is being closed tomorrow (August 2) at around midday for an emergency sewer repair.
Wessex Water estimates that the repairs will take a minimum of between six to eight weeks.
An official diversion route via the A338 will be signposted for motorists.
A Wessex Water spokesperson said: “Due to our sewer collapsing and the location, we have no choice but to close the A35 eastbound in order to carry out this essential repair safely.
“While we estimate the closure will be in place for a minimum of six to eight weeks, we will issue updates if this changes.
“We apologise for the inconvenience caused by this emergency work to residents, motorists, and tourists visiting the area.”
