DORSET’S largest multi-cultural festival, celebrating a host of communities, returned to Bournemouth for 2024.
The World of Love festival lit up Kings Park for its fifth year of bringing together ethnic minority communities to share their diverse lifestyles, arts, cultures, food, sports, languages and more.
People from cultures that helped form the event include Polish, African, Chinese, Arabian, Ukrainian, Brazilian, Gypsy and more.
Bea Sieradzka, organiser of the festival, previously said the event provides a platform to form new relationships, discover business opportunities and deepen cultural understanding.
The World of Love festival has grown each year since it began in 2019 at one of the local schools. “I wanted to make sure that children like my son are proud of their heritage,” she said.
“I wanted to also make sure that children like him understand the culture they come from but also that both children and adults of British heritage can see the different cultures, the worlds, here on their doorstep here in Bournemouth.
