A SEARCH is on for a missing man from the New Forest.
David Ward, 47, was last seen at around 12.30pm on Tuesday, August 6 in Stoney Cross.
Officers have already been trying to find the Lyndhurst resident and have now turned to residents for help.
David is described as white, of stocky build, 5ft 7ins tall, bald with missing teeth and walks with a limp.
He was last seen wearing a black Adidas tracksuit with grey stripes, according to Hampshire police.
A spokeswoman said: "We believe he will be on foot and could have travelled to anywhere in the New Forest or surrounding areas.
"If anyone has seen David today or has any information about his current whereabouts, please call 999 quoting reference 1144 of today’s date."
Update: David has now been found.
