An electronic music event at the bell tower of St James' Church in Poole is set for this month.
Electro artist RMCL, from Poole, will perform a live set for Techno From The Tower, combining modern beats with the historic backdrop of the 800-year-old church.
The event, which is due to take place at sunset, promises to provide viewers with a 'one-of-a-kind' audiovisual experience.
Drones will be used throughout to showcase the Georgian architecture of St James Church, also known as 'the fishermen's church' due to its historical affiliation with the local fishing industry.
The event is organised by OCOL (One City One Light).
Toby Gardner, broadcast director of OCOL, said: "Broadcasting from unconventional spaces is something we love doing, but every location presents its challenges.
"It will be a long climb up the tower with all our kit, but we have done worse."
While the performance unfolds on the bell tower rooftop, residents are invited to attend a watch party inside the church.
However, restrictions apply, with no public access granted to the church tower itself.
The event is a key part of OCOL's summer series, aimed at presenting remarkable venues through music broadcasts and live performances.
The live performance will also be broadcast across several platforms, such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitch and ocol.tv.
OCOL is a non-profit organisation that organises, performs and broadcasts live music events from various cultural and heritage locations across the UK.
It is known for its previous excursions at iconic venues such as Salisbury Cathedral, The Deep Aquarium Hull, BALTIC Centre for Arts Gateshead and Condor Liberation Ferry Poole Harbour.
RMCL, or Richard McLester, is renowned for his trance-inducing techno fusion.
Drawing inspiration from a plethora of genres, his live performances are always unique and inventive.
The event is scheduled for Tuesday, August 20.
The exact start time of the performance is yet to be confirmed, but it's approximated for 8pm.

This techno concert, weather permitting, is poised to be a significant highlight of this season.
