A CARE home in Dorset has hosted a community art event.
Blandford Grange, based in Blandford Forum, celebrated Care Home Open Week with a vibrant community project.
The event saw residents and local participants partaking in creative activities.
Participants added colourful handprints to a wall mural, intending to promote community spirit and showcase diversity.
The artwork will be displayed in the care home's top-floor activity room to serve as a reminder of the event.
Besides painting, the guests were also treated to an afternoon tea with scones and drinks.
Emilie Withall, activities co-ordinator at Blandford Grange, said: "We are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated in our community art project.
"The mural is a beautiful representation of the strong bonds we have within our community, and it will bring joy to our residents and visitors for years to come."
Blandford Grange, which is part of the Healthcare Homes Group, expressed thanks to all contributors and is looking to organise more community events.
The goal remains to build and strengthen ties with the Dorset community.
