THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

NATHANIEL OSEI, 23 and of Sharland Close in Thornton Heath, admitted two counts of possession of a controlled drug of class A, namely heroin and cocaine, and possession of a controlled drug of class B, namely cannabis, in Markham Road in Bournemouth on May 27, 2022. He was fined £250 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34.

PAUL ELSTON, 45 and of Wessex Road in Poole, admitted using a motor vehicle on a road without a valid test certificate, and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely 487 micrograms of benzoylecgonine per litre of blood, in Penn Hill Avenue in Poole, on January 13. He admitted to a further two counts of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely 23 micrograms of cocaine and 240 micrograms of benzoylecgonine per litre of blood, in Holdenhurst Road in Bournemouth on April 21. He was handed a community order lasting until August 8, 2025, and disqualified from driving for two years. He was also fined £200 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114.

DAVID DYMOND, 33 and of Commercial Road in Weymouth, admitted using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour with intent to cause fear of / provoke unlawful violence in Weymouth on August 7. He admitted two counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker, namely two police officers, in Weymouth on August 7. He admitted possession of a controlled drug of class B, namely 5.94g of cannabis, in Weymouth on August 7.

SHANE DAWSON, 18 and of Bournemouth, admitted possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, namely a knuckle duster, in Bargates in Christchurch on June 25, 2023. He admitted possession of a controlled drug of class B, namely 6.8g of cannabis, in Bargates in Christchurch on June 25, 2023. He admitted theft of a pedal cycle in Ashley Road in Poole on April 12. He admitted failing to surrender to police / court bail at the appointed time at Poole Magistrates Court’ on June 17.He was handed a community order lasting until August 11, 2025, with a requirement to complete 120 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

SAMANTHA LEWIS, 43 and of Tedder Road in Bournemouth, admitted two counts of theft from a shop after stealing cosmetics and toiletries from John Lewis in Poole Retail Park on December 22, 2023, and stealing shoes to the value of £364.91 from TK Maxx in Old Christchurch Road in Bournemouth on March 5. She was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months and ordered to pay compensation of £194.

DANIEL BELL, 19 and of Portswood Drive in Bournemouth, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place, at Bar So in Exeter Road in Bournemouth on March 31. He was conditionally discharged for a period of six months. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £26 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

DAVID WILLIAMSON, 64 and of Dudsbury Road in West Parley, admitted driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit, namely 78 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, in Hurn Court Lane in Christchurch on May 31. He was disqualified from driving for 36 months. He was also fined £219, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £88 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
