A DISCOUNTED retail store is set to close after more than 50 years of trade in Wimborne.
Bailie House Warehouse and Coffee Shop, on Dullar Lane, announced its closure on social media with hundreds of customers expressing their sadness.
The post read: “After 50 years plus of trading Ken Middleditch Ltd Bailie House Warehouse & Coffee Shop will be closing its doors for the final time.
“We will be running a fantastic half price clearance sale for approx 3/4 weekends from tomorrow so pop in and find some fantastic bargains as we clear our entire stock.
“We would like to express our gratitude to all of our lovely customers over those many years and say a massive thank you for your loyal custom support and friendship we will miss each and every one of you.
“Neil & Suzi Middleditch & all our amazing staff at Bailie House.”
Bailie House Warehouse offers discounted new goods as well as antiques, collectables, dress making and upholstery.
Many customers have taken to social media to express their shock of the closure with one saying “it is an end of an era.”
A final closing date for the store has not been announced but a closing sale will be held for the next three to four weeks.
