THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

TWANA AHMED, 39 and of Ringwood Road in Poole, admitted using a motor vehicle on a road without a valid test certificate and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely Benzoylecgonine, on the A30 in Exeter on May 9. She was handed a community order lasting until August 19, 2025, with a requirement to complete 60 hours of unpaid work, and was disqualified from driving for 20 months. She was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

MICHAEL MCLARNON, 49 and of Gresham Road in Bournemouth, admitted burglary other than dwelling after entering a staff-only area of Tesco Express in High Street in Cheltenham on August 4, 2023, and stealing items belonging to staff members, including a handbag, car keys, credit/debit cards and perfume. He was handed a community order lasting until February 19, 2025, and excluded from entering Cheltenham for six months. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £200 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

LIAM HEELEY, 20 and of Eastwood Park in Falfield, admitted two counts of criminal damage to property after damaging a window at WH Smith in Poole High Street on April 22, and damaging a window belonging to Stars Dorset in Fleets Lane in Poole on April 25. He was fined £100.

BARRY CONIO, 65 and of Hawkwood Road in Bournemouth, was found guilty of driving a mechanically propelled vehicle on a road / in a public place without due care and attention, in Queens Parks Avenue in Bournemouth on June 16, 2023. He got seven points on his licence and was fined £180.

GAVIN LOCKTON, 34 and of Manor Gardens in Verwood, admitted using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour with intent to cause fear of / provoke unlawful violence at Castlepoint shopping centre in Bournemouth on March 19. He was conditionally discharged for a period of two years and handed a restraining order lasting until August 19, 2026, banning him from entering B&Q at Castlepoint shopping centre. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £30, a victim surcharge of £26 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

LOUIS FOSTER, 41 and of Broadmead Avenue in Northampton, admitted criminal damage to property after damaged a washing machine, television, bed and TV unit, in Dureweston Close in Bournemouth on November 20, 2023. He was fined £60, ordered to pay compensation of £20, a victim surcharge of £24 and costs of £175 to the Crown Prosecution Service
