A PERSON was airlifted to hospital after a medical incident on board a boat in Swanage.
Multiple emergency services were alerted to reports of a medical incident on a vessel at sea earlier today (August 27).
A coastguard helicopter was deployed to the incident
A spokesperson for HM Coastguard said: “Lee-On-Solent Coastguard helicopter assisted Solent Coastguard with a medical incident onboard a vessel in Swanage today (27 August) at approximately 12.30pm.
“Swanage and Weymouth RNLI lifeboats, Swanage and Poole Coastguard Rescue Teams, and South Western Ambulance Service also attended.
“The individual was taken to hospital.”
