A BOURNEMOUTH-BASED law firm is celebrating after being shortlisted for three awards.

Steele Raymond, based in Richmond Hill, is the finalist at the South West Property Awards’ property law firm of the year category.

Head of residential development Emma Stainwright has been shortlisted in the property personality of the year award.

Meanwhile, Rosanna Parker, senior associate in the commercial property team, has been selected as a finalist for the emerging property person of the year award.

Jenny Rogerson, managing partner at Steele Raymond, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted in these three categories.

“The awards are a great showcase for the fantastic property talent across the region, of which Emma is undoubtedly in a class of her own, given her tremendous expertise and Rosanna is a real rising star.

“Over the last two years, we have continued to expand our property practice to enable us to provide an even greater service and expertise to our clients.

“It is therefore hugely rewarding to see this investment and the hard work and dedication of the team has been recognised. Congratulations to all the finalists.

“We are very much looking forward to the award finals in October.”

Leading Steele Raymond’s 15-strong residential development team, Emma is described as a very experienced and highly-regarded property lawyer, acting for landowners, developers and housebuilders.

She and the team have been instructed on many of the region’s key strategic land transactions recently.

Emma is also recognised as a ‘leading individual’ in the ‘commercial property Dorset, Devon and Cornwall’ category of the Legal 500 2024.

In her role as senior associate solicitor in the firm’s commercial property team, Rosanna specialises in a wide variety of property work principally across the industrial, office, retail and leisure sectors.

As well as being shortlisted in the South West Property Awards, Rosanna was recently awarded the young property person of the year at the South Coast Property Awards and is seen as a rising star.

The South West Property Awards recognise the achievements and excellence of businesses operating in the commercial property sector in the region, with finalists selected across 13 categories.

The winners will be announced at a prestigious black-tie dinner held at The Bristol Marriott Hotel on October 10.
