AN ADAPTATION of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is coming to Lighthouse Poole this November.
Produced by Tilted Wig, the play will run from Tuesday, November 5 to Saturday, November 9.
Seán Aydon's acclaimed adaptation will tour for the second time across the UK and promises to explore the cost of chasing 'perfection'.
The cast includes Emily-Jane McNeill, from West End's The Mousetrap, portraying Victoria Frankenstein.
The role of Henry will be performed by recent RADA graduate Tawana Dingembira, and Brianne Surgeoner, known for Pal: Your AI Companion and Adrift, Citizen’s Theatre, will play Francine.
Further casting is to be announced by Tilted Wig soon.
The play is set in 1943 and tells a chilling tale of creation and its consequences.
The adaptation is directed by Séan Aydon, who was the assistant director for Tom Fletcher's The Christmasaurus at the Hammersmith Apollo and adapted and directed a national tour of The Picture of Dorian Gray.
The performance is not recommended for those under the age of 12.
The shows will start at 7.45pm, with matinee performances on Thursday and Saturday at 2.30pm.
