THE POOLE and Bournemouth Stamp and Postcard Club is hosting its annual fair in September.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 7 at St Dunstan's Church Hall, Upton Community Centre, in Poole from 10am to mid-afternoon.
For this year's fair, the focus will be on cards from Bournemouth and Poole.
Transport-themed and fashion-related cards are also of specific interest.
The club welcomes anyone with a collection of postcards or stamps that they no longer require, or anyone searching for a particular item.
Admission to the fair is free and there is plenty of free car parking available.
Refreshments will also be on offer.
Aside from their potential monetary value, postcards also serve as important social history documents and can be of interest to philatelists, deltiologists and those who simply appreciate a heartfelt 'wish you were here' message.
For further details, David Morris, the main contact for the event, can be reached at davidlytch@gmail.com.
