THOUSANDS of visitors to Bournemouth were treated to a dazzling night display led by a Eurofighter Typhoon.
Day two's night display at Bournemouth Air Festival began just after 7:25pm as the Eurofighter Typhoon returned to the skies for the second time that day.
Sweeping across the sky in an array of manoeuvres, it's jet engines created a light trail behind it alongside its deafening noise.
Once the typhoon darted away from the crowds, set to return for the final day on August 31, the Firebird planes wowed festival visitors with its tricks.
Lit with LED lights, the firebirds intermittently set off sparklers on the side of its wings creating a stunning display.
However, festival favourite, 'Otto' the helicopter, followed the Firebirds and one-upped the sparkly display by firing fireworks sporadically into the sky.
Piloted by Brendan O'Brien, the helicopter releases 1,500 pyrotechnics into the sky from six firing lines.
The air display ended with the Red Devils falling from the sky once more also lit up by sparklers.
