A MAN has died following an emergency response at an incident at Old Harry Rocks.
Officers were alerted to an incident in the water off Old Harry Rocks on August 25.
The HM Coastguard helicopter, police officers, the ambulance service, an air ambulance and the RNLI were sent to the scene.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 1.56pm on Sunday 25 August 2024 raising concern for the welfare of a man in the water off Old Harry Rocks in Studland.
“Officers attended, as well as HM Coastguard, the RNLI and the ambulance service, and very sadly the man was pronounced dead.
“There are no suspicious circumstances and the man's family was notified. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.”
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 13:57hrs on Sunday 25 August to an incident in Swanage.
“We sent one double-crewed land ambulance, an air ambulance, and two operations officers to the scene.”
