THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

LAUREN VELKOOP, 33 and of Langdon Road in Poole, admitted two counts of theft from a shop, after stealing meat valued at £30 from the Co-op in Commercial Road in Poole on May 5, and groceries valued at £25 from the Co-op in Commercial Road in Poole on May 9. She was conditionally discharged for a period of six months.

MARC TURNER, 40 and of Langton Road in Blandford Forum, admitted two counts of assault by beating in Blandford Forum on October 6, 2023. He admitted harassment without violence in Langton Road in Blandford Forum between October 25 and November 21, 2023. He was handed a community order lasting until September 3, 2026. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

JAMIE STEVENS, 33 and of Stevens Close in Blandford Forum, admitted criminal damage to property, after damaging a mirror to the value of £170, and assault by beating in Castle Avenue in Okeford Fitzpaine on November 26, 2023. He was handed a community order lasting until March 3, 2026. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

JOEL MORGAN, 34 and of Victoria Road in Bournemouth, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court. He was fined £50 and ordered to pay costs of £30.

MOHAMMAD KHALEGHI, 52 and of Wollaston Lodge in Bournemouth, admitted using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour to cause harassment / alarm / distress in Seabourne Road in Bournemouth on November 2, 2023. He was conditionally discharged for two years. He was also ordered to pay £400 compensation, a victim surcharge of £26 and costs of £400 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

HAZHAR KADIR, 44 and of Gresham Road in Bournemouth, was found guilty of driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit, namely 86 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, in Westover Road in Bournemouth on February 22. He was disqualified from driving for 20 months. He was also fined £400, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £160 and costs of £400 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

MADELEINE PANKHURST, 53 and of Lymington Road in Christchurch, admitted four counts of theft from a shop after stealing supplements to the value of £120 from Holland and Barrett in Saxon Square in Christchurch on April 12, stealing various health and beauty products to a value unknown from Boots in Bournemouth on February 2, and stealing beauty products to the value of £82 from Boots in Bournemouth on July 2. She admitted using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour to cause harassment / alarm / distress in Christchurch Road in Bournemouth on August 27. She admitted possession of a controlled drug of class A, namely cocaine, in Madeira Road in Bournemouth on September 4. She was jailed for ten weeks and ordered to pay £154 compensation.

DOREEN JOHNSON, 49 and of Viscount Walk in Poole, admitted theft from a shop after stealing laundry products valued at £182 from Tesco Extra in Riverside Avenue in Bournemouth on April 5. She was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months. She was also ordered to pay £182 compensation.

ORLANDO JOSE NARCISO MARTINS, 46 and of Maple Road in Bournemouth, admitted two counts of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely Benzoylecgonine and cocaine, in Christchurch Road in Bournemouth on March 2. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also fined £184, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £74 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
