A POPULAR Bournemouth bar has announced its closure. 

Post is described as a Bier Haus built on Bohemian spirit.

From the people behind Aruba, the stylish bar replaced Pizza Express in Post Office Road in 2022.

In a lengthy post on its social media, Post said its decision to close was down to ‘challenges of operating in the current town centre environment’.  

A spokesperson for Post said: “After much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close the doors of Post Bournemouth.

“The challenges of operating in the current town centre environment have become increasingly tough, and we believe this is the right time to step back.

“We are deeply grateful for the support from our incredible team and all of you who made Post a special place.

“Your patronage has meant the world to us and we couldn’t have done it without you.

“Thank you for being a part of our journey.

“To those with upcoming bookings, we regret that we won’t be able to fulfil your reservation at our venue.

“However, we’re here to assist in finding alternative venues for your event. Our team will be in touch with more information as soon as we can.

“We truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this time, and we are incredibly grateful for your support over the last few years.”
