A WOMAN is facing questions from police officers after suspected drugs and a “large quantity” of cash was found at a home.
The 46-year-old was arrested at an address in New Milton town centre and was taken into police custody.
She was arrested on suspicion of possession of intent to supply a controlled drug of class A, possessing an offensive weapon in a private place and acquiring, using or possessing criminal property.
Police said that cannabis, drug paraphernalia, mobile phones and a large quantity of cash was seized from the address at which she was detained.
A New Milton police officer said: “The arrest follows great work by officers from New Milton neighbourhood policing team and the Lyndhurst district policing team.”
