A POPULAR boy band with a connection to Dorset are returning to Bournemouth as part of their UK tour this September.
The Vamps are an award-winning British band with hit songs such as Can We Dance and Somebody Like You.
The new album Meet the Vamps Revamped will be the six singles taken from the debut album re-recorded and reimagined ten years on from its original release.
Brad, Connor, James and Tristan got together in the rural countryside and have re-worked and re-recorded Meet The Vamps.
Ten years older, it's their new take on the album that catapulted them to stardom.
The band said: “We are so excited for the fans to hear these re recordings, this was the album that started it all for us and songs that are very close to our hearts but they have evolved a lot over the past ten years so it was amazing to go back in and recapture the energy through our eyes now having toured for ten years “
James McVey, the guitarist and singer of the band, has connections to Dorset based charity, Julia’s House.
The Meet the Vamps Anniversary Tour will see the band perform at the 02 Academy Bournemouth on September 18.
