RINGWOOD Waldorf School is kicking off its 50th birthday celebrations with a weekend of activities.
The celebrations will take place on September 14 and 15 at the school grounds in Folly Farm Lane, just outside of Ringwood.
Activities lined up for the weekend include crafts, art, music, storytelling and circus skills workshops.
On the Sunday morning, there will be a communal walk from the school to Moors Valley, led by current teaching staff.
Geli Patrick, school lead and chair of the senior management team at Ringwood Waldorf School, said: “We are so excited to be celebrating the school’s 50th birthday. This weekend will be a true community event to which everyone is warmly invited.
"Our school has literally been built from the ground up by parents and our school community over the past five decades.
"And we have ambitious plans for the next few years with further developing the school, with more buildings to accommodate future additional pupils wanting to join the school.
“We would like to invite everyone to help us celebrate – whether you have a connection to the school already or are wondering what our school is about."
