THE Blue Pool is promising an “unforgettable” schedule of autumn and winter events this year.
From a spooktacular Halloween half-term to the festive spirit of Christmas and the dazzling Illuminate 2025 light show, the popular attraction near Wareham is promising lots to do.
Between October 26 and 31, there will be Halloween-themed activities such as pumpkin carving, arts and crafts, bushcraft sessions and a spooky trail through the eerie woodland of Furzebrook estate.
And then for Christmas, between November 30 and December 23, children can follow a festive trail leading to Santa’s grotto.
Sian Hedger, marketing manager, said: “Meet Santa and receive a special gift before he heads back to Lapland for Christmas Eve.
“Early booking is highly recommended, as spaces are limited. Tickets can be secured on Eventbrite.
“General admission is also available at the gate, allowing visitors to explore the nature reserve and take in the crisp winter air as the vibrant woodland shifts with the season.
“Afterwards, enjoy festive drinks on the terrace, beautifully illuminated by glowing festoon lights. For holiday shoppers, our gift shop features unique local items, perfect for finding special Christmas presents.”
The popular Illuminate light display will also be back in the new year between January 9 and February 23.
More than one kilometre of professionally lit trails will light up the pool and surrounding woodland. Tickets are available on Eventbrite in October.
