A WOMAN in her 30s died after being found unresponsive.

Boscombe-born Francesca Louise Mansell, 34, was found dead in her home in King George Avenue, Moordown on August 3.

Coroner’s officer Grace Monro told an inquest opening for Miss Mansell’s death that she lived with her parents and she was found unresponsive.

She said: “The ambulance service attended and carried out CPR but this was not successful and Francesco was declared deceased at the scene.”

Dorset Police attended and found there to be no suspicious circumstances. She was formally identified by her father and attending police officers.

Following toxicology analysis carried out at the Holly Tree Lodge, doctors found a provisional cause of death as respiratory depression, obstructive sleep apnoea and a combined use of codeine, morphine, cyclizine and promethazine.

She had pre-existing conditions of morbid obesity and severe fatty changes of the liver, the inquest on September 9 heard.

Statements were requested by Dorset coroner Rachael Griffin from Miss Mansell’s family, her GP, the mental health teams if she had any contact with them and the police regarding their investigation.

Mrs Griffin adjourned the inquest at Bournemouth Coroner's Court until May 1, 2025.
