A MAN attempted two break into a Winton cafe with a crowbar.

At around 2.55am on Wednesday, August 14 a man attempted to force his way into to the Otto Print and Coffee House in Wimborne Road.

Police say the offender initially used a crowbar to try and open the side door of the business in Crimea Road.

But he was unsuccessful, so he smashed a glass panel on the front door in an attempt to gain entry. He left the scene shortly after.

Police constable Sarah Donnelly, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this attempted burglary and we are now in a position to issue images of a man we would like to identify as part of our investigation.

“I would urge anyone who recognises him to please contact us.”
