SO much for the Indian summer.
Temperatures plunged to around 1C at Hurn on Friday morning, September 13.
Elsewhere, it was around 6C in the Bournemouth area.
Springbourne-based weather enthusiast Jim Smith said it was the coldest September morning for six years.

This weekend will be dry with large amounts of sunshine with highs of around 18C or 19C.
Next week, it will get even warmer with lots more sunshine and temperatures around 20C and 21C between Monday and Wednesday.
According to Met Office, the mercury will peak at 22C on Thursday and Friday.
