WALKERS hoping to enjoy a perfect autumn stroll are being recommended to head for the New Forest.
The Brockenhurst and the Tall Trees Trail Circular has been named as the fourth best pub walk in England by Millets, which sells outdoor clothing and equipment.
Walkers take an average of three hours and 36 minutes to complete the 15km route.
Millets went in search of walks that are easily accessible, family-friendly, and go through an area with a pub.
The retailer gave the Brockenhurst trail a rating of 4.7 out of five after studying 1,366 reviews.
Natalie Byrne, author and outdoor enthusiast at Millets said: "A walk is the perfect excuse to get all the family together and moving.
"To allow the whole family to get involved, it's a great idea to choose a route that is accessible to wheelchairs and prams.
"It's also recommended you check the difficulty of your route as well as the estimated time it will take for the whole family to walk it."
