A MAN has been arrested after a man was threatened with violence at a Bournemouth cashpoint.
At around 3am on Tuesday, September 10, it was reported a man aged in his 30s was at the Natwest cash machine in Old Christchurch Road when he was approached by another man.
The man reportedly demanded money from the victim and made threats of violence, but they managed to run away, and nothing was taken.
Police issued an image appeal in relation to the incident.
Following enquiries into the matter and an image appeal, a 43-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery.
He has been released on police bail as enquiries continue.
