RESIDENTS can ask a question about the extensive roadworks along a busy Poole route.
BCP Council will be holding a drop-in session on Wednesday evening, September 18 to give residents the opportunity to ask about the Ringwood Road scheme.
Currently, the road northbound from Canford Way, Alderney Roundabout and Mountbatten Roundabout is down to one lane – causing delays throughout the day.
Northbound will have one lane shut until October 30. After that, southbound will go down to one lane until January 16.
But the work is part of a wider £17.5m government-funded scheme to build new bus lanes, cycle lanes and pedestrian crossings along the road from Mountbatten Roundabout and Sea View Road.
It will see 4.5km of road resurfacing, along with 1.8km of improved pavements and a new 2.7km two-way cycle track.
Council officers will be at 374 Ringwood Road, Newtown on Wednesday between 2pm and 7pm.
BCP Council said: “See the plans, talk to an engineer, find out more about the construction schedule.”
