TWO Poole neighbourhood police officers attended Broadstone First School to give a talk and allow children to sit in a police car.
Neighbourhood officers, Matt and Georgia attended the school on the week of September 9 and spoke in front of several pupils about their role in protecting the community.
The pupils were also given the opportunity to try on a selection of police uniforms and kits alongside sitting in a police car.
A spokesperson for Poole Police said: "Poole NPT officer Pete, Matt and Georgia attended Broadstone First School last week to talk to the young children about our role in the Police and that of our colleagues in neighbourhood policing and those in response.
"It was an opportunity for the little ones to try on our selection of police uniforms and kit and sit in a police car, whilst trying our the emergency lights and sirens.
"It was a really lovely engaging and positive group of young children, who had lots of interesting questions about our role and police in general.
The children were also shown how police take fingerprints with each child imprinting their own on a badge to take home to show their parents and guardians.
