BCP COUNCIL is advertising a new job for a role that will pay more than £100,000.
The local authority is looking for a new director of education and skills to join the team, offering the successful applicant a £109,453 salary.
The job description says a “visionary leader with significant experience” in education and skills strategy development is needed.
"We are on an ambitious journey of transformation, striving to enhance educational outcomes and lifelong learning for our diverse and vibrant communities,” it adds.
“Our vision is forward-thinking, and we are committed to driving educational excellence and fostering collaboration across all our services. “
Responsibilities will include overseeing governance, finance and regulatory functions for schools, leading the development and delivery of strategies to improve educational outcomes and “championing” inclusion while reducing inequality.
The current interim director of education and skills at BCP Council is Sharon Muldoon.
