Why are politicians so selfish with their 'what’s in it for me, it’s all about me' attitude?
If as a country we were taught godly values such as agape love - agape love is a selfless and unconditional form of love that is characterised by compassion, care, and sacrifice.
Unlike other forms of love, such as romantic or familial love, agape love does not depend on the actions or qualities of the recipient. It is a conscious choice to love and accept others regardless of their flaws or shortcomings.
If the teaching of Christianity were taught and the parables of Jesus known to society today, all society would benefit and the country would be a place of unity, sharing, not of division, greed and selfishness. All people are of worth regardless of religion, creed, or race.
We need leaders with godly values.
